Abstract

The main challenges of Georgia in 2023 are the reduction of the budget deficit and the state debt, which should be accompanied by the stability of economic growth and tax revenue mobilization. It is necessary to reduce the high-interest domestic debt, the servicing of which is a prerequisite for the increase in budget expenditures. In order to increase the efficiency of spending funds from the state budget, the process of correctly drawing up the program budget requires to be carried out effective measures.
